To prepare an herb as an infusion, boiling water may be poured over e.g. 2 gm of comminuted herb and then strained after 5 minutes.
In order to achieve greater medicinal effect, some herbs need to be broken i.e. in small pieces, including white oak bark, or Hempnettle.
