Rheumatic Fever

Rheumatic Fever

Rheumatic fever is a systemic, febrile disease, inflammatory and non-suppurative in nature. Typically the onset is signalled by sudden occurrence of fever and joint pain.

It is variable in duration, severity, and sequelae, frequently followed by serious heart disorders or kidney disease.
