Description

Sweet potato (also ocarina), the sweet, edible tuber of the Ipomoea batatas, of the Convolvulus family, also called the sweet potato. This is among nature's most concentrated vegetable sources of vitamin A. It is also high in vitamin C, potassium, manganese, copper and riboflavin.

Available throughout the year, with peak supplies from September through January.
