Collagen

Collagen

Collagen is composed of complex protein fibers which strongly resist being pulled apart. Collagen, which comprises over half the protein of the mammal, can be found in bones, ligaments, and cartilage. It is high in glycine, alanine, proline and hydroxyproline.
