Flax Seed Oil

Flax Seed Oil

Flax seed oil (linseed oil) is the fixed oil obtained from the dried ripe seed of linum usitatissimum. It is a rich source of essential fatty acids, such as linolenic acid, which are necessary for growth and maintenance of the cells. Medicinally it is used to soothe as an emollient and in veterinary medicine as a laxative.
