Glomerulonephritis
Glomerulonephritis is a variety of nephritis (mass cell death) characterized by the inflammation of the capillary loops in the glomeruli of the kidney. It occurs in acute, subacute, chronic forms and may be secondary to hemolytic streptococcal infection. Evidence also supports possible immune of autoimmune mechanisms.
