Thiamine Pyrophosphate

Thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP) is formed by the combination of thiamine (vitamin B1) and phosphorus. It is important for glucose oxidation and acts as a coenzyme factor in the decarboxylation reaction controlled by the enzyme decarboxylase.
