Tamara Responds:
Dear Bk Tan,
Thank you for your email. We appreciate your comments and are grateful
to know you are having positive results with CellRenew.
There are many different types of collagen, though 80 to 90 percent of
the collagen in the body consists of Types 1, 2, and 3. There purposes often
overlap. The two collagens I am most familiar with are Collagen Type 1 and Type
2. Collagen Type 2 is what the product CellRenew contains and the one most
beneficial for joint health.
Collagen Type 1 tends to be more rigid than Type 2, better for bones.
Collagen Type 2 is found in soft tissues of the body, such as: joint cartilage,
skin, hair, nails, eyes, blood vessels, etc..., and is the most prevalent
building block for joint cartilage.
Collagen Type 2 not only reduces pain and inflammation, but also aids
normal repair and regeneration of cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. An added
benefit is Collagen Type 2 helps improve the elasticity for connective tissue,
and cushioning between joints. Collagen Type 2 from chicken sternum cartilage
has been scientifically proven to help both rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis. Not
only do people experience the repair of damaged joint cartilage, they also
notice less cartilage deterioration. This is what you are hopefully
experiencing, too.
Collagen Type 1 has not been shown to be effective on
immune system forms of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis. Collagen Type 2
is the only collagen, so far, to be clinically proven to help in these cases.
Collagen Type 2 contains the highest concentration of anti-inflammatory and
joint supporting proteoglycans over other collagens. Collagen Type 2 also
contains a high percentage of chondroitin sulphate, which is a powerful
anti-inflammatory proteoglycan that helps support joint tissue, and Hyaluronic
Acid, which acts as a lubricant for the joints and other parts of the
body.
I
hope this helps you understand a little more. Again, I appreciate you letting
us know about your positive response to CellRenew. Would you kindly give me
permission to use your comments as a testimonial for other
customers?
Thank you and best regards,
Tamara J. Gaisford
