Post-Script
You Have Your Medicine, Now What?...

Post-Script explains the side-effects and concerns about the most-prescribed drugs, and the recommendations you should consider to counteract the effects. Post-Script is based on scientifically published research, and references only peer-reviewed literature about prescribed, and over-the-counter, drugs. *

Post-Script is specifically designed to address Drug Induced Nutrient Depletion issues; the side-effects where prescription drugs contribute to a need for additional support from nutritional supplements.  The need for extra supplementation may be as result of accelerated leeching of a particular nutrient, or due to a reduced absorption of the nutrients you are normally consuming.

With Post-Script, you will also be alerted to any known contraindications associated with your medications and specific foods, herbs, or nutrients.

If you are like us, you have sometimes wondered if there is anyone in your corner, watching, questioning, ensuring that balanced information is available for you to decipher for yourself whether a medication is worth the risks.  Let's face it, all medications have potential side-effects.  Many of the side-effects are worse than the condition the medication is supposed to treat.  And there are those subtle side-effects that you may not be aware of until years down the road.

Know the facts:
Post-Script is a database of negative side-effects for commonly used medications, including warnings for possible interactions with some herbs and vitamins, as well as, suggestions for specific antidotes - in the form of common foods or supplements - that should be employed to balance, or counteract, a medication's unpleasant -- and often dangerous -- side-effects.

Do I need Post-Script?

We all need someone helping to keep us informed about little-known information that can keep us healthy, or could save our lives.

The information provided in this database is intended for education purposes only.  This should not replace the advice from your doctor.

How do I use Post-Script?

First, it should be noted that not all pharmaceuticals are represented in Post-Script.  If you do not find your drug listed, it may simply be because there is no pier-reviewed, clinical reports available to reference, at this time.  The absence of a drug is not an endorsement by us as to its safety.  It just means the research does not yet support potential concerns.

Another possible reason your drug may not be listed is because you may be looking for a trade name instead of the real name of the active ingredient.

As an example, Lipitor is a trade name for the active drug Atorvastatin, a category of Statin drugs. In Post-Script, we actually list it by the trade name Lipitor, but in less popular drugs, we may only list the active ingredients.
