Nutritional Considerations
N-Acetyl-Cysteine - People taking isosorbide dinitrate might benefit from supplements of the amino acid N-acetyl-Cysteine. Controlled studies have shown that using intravenous and oral N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) reverses or prevents tolerance to nitrates.
