Kali Mur
Kali Mur. combines with albumin to form fibrin, which is found in every soft tissue in the body.
A deficiency will provoke the release of a thick, white exudate from mucous membranes and a white (or grey) coating of the tongue.
This may also accompany glandular swellings. The blood may tend to form clots.
It is the chief remedy for: bronchitis, catarrh, croup and diarrhea.
An overview of symptoms includes:
Headache, coated tongue.
Discharge of white mucus from the eyes.
Earache, congested middle ear (e.g. cracking noises on blowing the nose).
Cheeks may be swollen, together with the lymphatic glands about the jaw and neck.
Sore, swollen throat.
Thick, white phlegm, wheezing and rattling from congested bronchial tubes.
A deficiency of the saliva causes indigestion from fatty and rich foods.
There can be a wide variety of skin eruptions (boils, ezcema, pimples with white exudate).
It is indicated for any swollen tissues, including bruises.
It is most commonly used for a "sluggish" liver i.e. poor digestion, loss of appetite; light-colored stools (due to lack of bile) are often the first sign.
