Natrum Mur
Nat. Mur. is considered to be complementary to the homeopathic preparation Sepia.
Nat. Mur. is a constituent of every cell in the body. The human body is composed mainly of water but water, without electrolytes, would be inert and useless. The electrolytes, are, quite literally, the "spark plugs" of life!
Nat. Mur. balances the hydration levels of the body; which includes the blood stream; and even hydrochloric acid and digestion.
The patient may crave salt but table salt may not rectify the molecular deficiency.
An overview of symptoms includes:
Hammering headache.
Watery eyes.
Runny nose, salty taste.
Excessive salivation.
Thirst, indigestion.
Constipation from dry bowel.
Water blisters on skin, eczema.
This remedy may be applied topically, or in a spray to the eyes and throat in catarrhal conditions.
If other remedies fail to provide any benefit, Nat. Mur. may be required, before the other salts can be properly utilized by the body.
