Water Chestnut
Description
Water chestnut is a root vegetable looking like a dirty little tulip bulb. It has brown to black coats and frayed, leafy scales. The flesh is a crisp white.
Available year-round.
Note: Sprouting will occur if water chestnuts are not kept cool.
