Arsenic is a metallic element found in minute traces in the black walnut tree. Black walnut is used in getting rid of intestinal parasites. Arsenic in doses larger than minute traces is toxic and will cause death. For that reason, arsenic is only used in making alloys, certain types of glass, and used in toxicology as a radioactive tracer.
