Description
An ache is a continuing chronic pain, as distinguished from a sudden pain, a spasmodic pain or a twinge. It may be of dull or severe intensity, and may last for a significant length of time. An ache is itself a symptom of many conditions.
Among the different types of aches are the backache, bone ache, earache, muscle ache, stomach ache and toothache.
Treatment may include mild painkillers such as aspirin, rest, heating the affected area, and/or any of several other ways to relieve tension and improve blood flow to the affected area.
Causes
Aches are caused by many factors, including cerebral allergy.
Muscle ache
Overexertion
Excessive exercise
Stomach ache
Eating too fast
Eating too much
Toothache
Dental caries
Signs & Symptoms
An ache itself is always a symptom of another condition. Its diagnosis usually requires an understanding of the difference between it and other similar terms.

Note:
All amounts are in addition to those supplements having a Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA). Due to individual needs, one must always be aware of a possible undetermined effect when taking nutritional supplements. If any disturbances from the use of a particular supplement should occur, stop its use immediately and seek the care of a qualified health care professional.
Dietary Considerations
Aches in the bones and joints can be due to deficiencies in vitamin A and/or vitamin C. These symptoms are readily reversible with the appropriate supplementation.
Excess vitamin D can cause joint aches.
If aches are caused by cerebral allergy, an Elimination Diet is recommended.
