Description:
Acetaminophen is the major constituent of a large group of well-known drugs, present in most households.
It is an alternative to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) , possessing some of the same analgesic and antipyretic properties. Note, it is not as useful in inflammatory conditions.

Herbal Considerations:
Milk Thistle Extract helps prevent liver damage from hepatotoxins, including acetaminophen (Campos 1989)(Brinker 1998).
Tobacco decreases blood levels of acetaminophen. (Brinker 1998)
