Our Commitment to You...

Uncompromising Quality

Would you risk giving your family anything less than "exceptional"?

When you insist on using only the finest ingredients available, a dependable, high-end product is much easier to achieve.

Starting with thoroughly tested and pure ingredients, every product is manufactured in an FDA licensed, pharmaceutical factory.  You might be wondering:

"Doesn't that increase the costs of manufacturing?"

And the answer is:

"Yes... it sure does."

But, this is a choice we make, not just for you, but because we consume the products, as well.

When you are comparison shopping for a product, do you shop only based on price?  If so, you might be interested in knowing that there are vast differences in the cost - and quality - of most raw materials.

As an example, if you are purchasing a B12 product for yourself and your family, would you have confidence in a product in which the raw material for B12 cost the company $37 per kilo?  Or would you have more comfort in the effectiveness of a product if you knew the raw material, instead, cost $17,000 per kilo?

Yes, you read that correctly... that says $37 vs. $17,000 per kilo.  Gee, I wonder if there is a difference in the quality?

Or how about if a product formula calls for ginkgo biloba... would you prefer to trust a product that you know uses only the same form of ginkgo biloba that German doctors prescribe as a mood altering drug, or are you okay not knowing if it is free of lead, melamine, and diethylene glycol (a deadly component of antifreeze)?

The difference between a 'good job' and a 'quality job' is in the details.  And the details begin with ensuring that only the very best material is used to make products for you.

So, in a market that is so loaded with "wanna-be, me-too" companies, how do we stand out in the crowd?

By adhering to an unwavering commitment to Quality, from the selection of the raw materials, to the reliance of only FDA licensed, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Since 1997, without compromise, we have accepted nothing less than excellence... and we never will.

This is Our Commitment to You.

Obsessed Customer Service

When it comes to having someone manage the Customer Experience, you want to know you have the most persnickety trail boss ramrodding the operation that involves getting the product in your hands, in the condition and time frame you expect.

And if, on the rare occasion, you have a concern you wish to address, you want to know you can speak to an actual human, located in the U.S.,  who can understand you, and "fix it".

Yep... when it comes to having someone on your side to help you, you want the most cantankerous and ornery curmudgeon you can find.

(Trail Boss and Chief Curmudgeon)

Tamara: VP/COO, Director Customer Service

Don't let Tamara's appearance fool you... she wears sharp spurs, carries a big stick, and makes sure you are taken care of through every stage of the customer process.

Companies approach their customer service philosophy in a number of ways. Some make it almost impossible to reach them.  Others let you contact them, but give you the runaround.  Still others figure it is best to promise the world, but simply never deliver.  That only works for companies who plan to be out of business in a short time.

Since 1997, we have performed customer service in a rather simplistic way:

Help you be happy.

We have an equally simple Guarantee:

If you are happy,

we are happy.

(Statement of Guarantee - click here)

The call center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  And if you have a question they are unable to answer, they will connect you to our customer experience supervisor, Stephanie, who has her very own large stick and pair of spurs to help make things happen.

Although we don't understand why Steph doesn't stay at the office 24/7 like the call center folks, during normal business hours, she sure can solve most puzzles.

And ultimately, if no one else can help you, we don't hide our president.  Sure... we keep him locked in a cage... but we don't hide him.  If no one else can help, we let Bill out long enough to answer a question, but not so long that he breaks something.

This is Our Commitment to You.

blood lipids   Cholesterol: Simple Ideas to Help Reduce Your Number

One of the most prevalent health problems of the 21st Century is the high cholesterol levels that afflict so many people.

We all need a small amount of cholesterol, which is a type of fat, to maintain certain bodily functions, such as helping with hormone production and promoting healthy cell membranes.  However, when we have an excess of "bad" cholesterol (known as LDL cholesterol) it starts first to accumulate in the blood and eventually it will stick to the walls of the arteries.

OTC Cold Medicine - Commonly used, but unproved

The cold season rages on, as we anticipate an added 6 weeks of winter (Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow).

Before you reach for over-the-counter (OTC) cold medicine claiming to solve your stuffy head, congestion, cough woes, it would be good to review valid reasons for avoiding these products, and opt for natural remedies instead.

no more soda   So Long Soda and Cereal - Start the New Year with a New Resolution

Are you one of the many Americans who were unable to resist the trendy consumption of cereal and soda during 2007?

Though soda sales dropped by 1% last year, they reigned as the most commonly purchased packaged good in 2007. Amid obesity and health concerns, approximate soda sales topped $18 billion for the year. Our busy schedules helped to bring ready-to-eat cereal into fourth place, as 92% ($7.7 billion) of Americans purchased cereal last year.

A few honorary mentions include chocolate (8th place - 91% of households) and potato chips (9th place - 88% of households).

We all need a little guilty-pleasure (quite sparingly), but when these pleasures take over the kitchen cupboards and fresh fruit is replaced with bottled fizz, you know you must repent.

rusty truck   Would You Rather Wear Out... Or Rust Out?

I have been thinking a lot about rust, lately. I have an old gal that I keep around for “special times”, occasionally stoking her fires, and lovingly coaxing her out for a “dance” or two.

Time
Commentary - From the President
“Time”… We spend Time. We bide Time. We waste Time and lose Time. There is a Time to weep and a Time to laugh; a Time for talk and a Time for song. And whether we like it or not, Time marches on. Try though we might, we cannot slow or stop Time. And the reversal of Time should best be left for the H.G. Wells class of authors.

Wise Words

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery everyday. Never lose a holy curiosity.”
-Albert Einstein
